Established in 1988, 12d Solutions is an Australian software developer specialising in civil engineering and surveying solutions. Its flagship product, 12d Model, is sold direct and through resellers around Australia and worldwide. The first version of 12d Model was released in 1991.

12d Model is powerful civil engineering, surveying and terrain modelling software. It allows fast production in a wide variety of projects including mapping; site layouts; road, rail and highway design; residential and land developments; drainage and sewer design; and Environmental Impact studies.

12d Model users include civil and water engineering consultants; environmental consultants; surveyors; local, state and national government departments and authorities; research institutes; construction companies; and mining consultants.

12d Model is modularised, so users can easily choose modules to suit their needs. It is the complete design, survey and mapping solution.

Today, we are proud to say that 12d Model is used in over 65 countries worldwide, and our licences are still growing in number. It is a solution that can be used by small businesses and individual consultants, through to large organisations.

12d Solutions was founded (and is still headed) by Managing Director Dr Lee Gregory and Technical Director Alan Gray. Both visionaries had worked in the industry for many years and found that the solutions on offer simply were not the most user-friendly, and that a true customer focus was lacking.
