In July 2022, ALDE distributed a survey seeking feedback on their activities. One survey was sent to their General Members and another survey was sent to their Sustaining Members.
Thanks to all the General & Sustaining Members who took the time to complete our recent member survey. Your feedback will help to continue to provide value to our membership and guide new initiatives.
Some of the main points come from the survey:
– Most members rated ALDE as ‘Good, Very Good or Excellent’ at the key functions of representing the industry, working with government bodies and encouraging education and technical skills.
– Members would like to see ALDE Member Forums held in different locations within Melbourne and Regional Victoria and overwhelmingly support the recording of member forums which we will look to implement.
– Most members showed an interest in entering the ALDE Awards for Excellence in future.
– Members strongly supported a future conference for the Land Development Industry.
– Members rated the level of communication by ALDE as very positive and we look to continue this with the monthly publishing of The Conduit Newsletter, in person through our events and member forums. A suggestion was made for more direct channels of communication with a water authority which we will look to build on in the future.
