Call for Abstracts Closing Next Week!

Submission Deadline – Thursday, 30 November 2023

There is now just one week until the close of Concurrent Presentation submissions for the ALDE 2024 Conference. If you were considering submitting an abstract, now is the time to make a start!

You can save your work and return to complete and submit your abstract anytime before the Call for Abstracts portal closing date of Thursday, 30 November 2023.

This conference is set to explore the challenges and innovative solutions that we all employ to create liveable communities.

The 2024 conference theme is: ‘Connecting the Pieces: Crafting the Future of Land Development.’

Don’t Miss the Opportunity to be a part of the ALDE 2024 Conference

Abstract submissions close on Thursday 30 November 2023

By now you may have started to prepare your abstract for consideration in the ALDE 2024 Conference program. The submission deadline is only 4 weeks away, so why not set aside 20 minutes to complete your submission and submit it by the end of the week?

The Conference will be held at Mantra Lorne, on Tuesday, 20 and Thursday, 21 August 2024.

We are welcoming and encouraging submissions on the various areas involved in land development, including:

Effective Site Management
Smart Software Use
Collaboration with Land Development
Innovative Design

Presentations are invited that address the theme: ‘Connecting the Pieces: Crafting the Future of Land Development’ and explore one of the following streams that were listed above.

The Call for Abstracts Guidelines will provide you with all the information you require to prepare your submission and also include some ‘thought starters’ for your abstract within each of the four streams.

Conference presentations will be offered as 30-minute concurrent sessions. Abstract submissions must be made through the online submission portal by Thursday, 30 November 2023.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Abstracts are being sought in the following Conference streams:

Effective Site Management
Smart Software Use
Collaboration with Land Development
Innovative Design

Presentation Type

The ALDE 2024 Conference will feature concurrent presentations of 25 minutes duration with an additional 5 minutes allocated for questions.

The following guidelines apply for the submission of abstracts for all concurrent presentations.

All abstracts must be submitted via the online Abstract Submission Portal.
In total, abstracts should be no more than 400 words in length. Abstracts exceeding this limit will not be considered.
Submissions must include a biography of the presenter/s of up to 200 words. Submissions not including a biography of the presenter will not be considered.
