ALDE Member forums are centred around topical information designed for members to network with key public sector individuals. Theses forums are held throughout the year and themed around the relevant subcommittees.
These industry events provide a platform to exchange information and experience between ALDE members and guests as well as serve as a valuable networking opportunity between authorities and colleagues.

Cameron Lowe, Self-Paced Online Training manager, 12d Solutions with Kim Dinh, Chair of ALDE Education Subcommittee, Quality Assurance Manager at Marshal
Kim and Cameron presented the Self-Paced Online Training course being developed by ALDE and 12d Solutions for the Land Development industry in Victoria.
The course will cover the theory behind the Land Development process, as well as include the application of 12d Model for road and stormwater design tasks, tailored to Victorian requirements.
The course will make use of 12d Solution’s Self-Paced Online Training (SPOT) platform, through the Civil & Surveying Institute. View Presentation

Graeme McKenna from Before Your Dig Australia (BYDA) who works with members, users and partners across Victoria and Tasmania to communicate the importance & value of the BYDA service to all stakeholders. Graeme also works with BYDA asset-owning members to familiarise them with the Referral Response Automation Solution offered in conjunction with Esri Australia to streamline BYDA enquiry response management and improve asset protection. Geoff Reynolds, on behalf of the Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) is the representative for the Engineering and Design Construction Manual (EDCM) and the Local Government Infrastructure Design manual (LGIDA) under the Victorian Planning Authority (VPA). He has also been a reference group member for the EPA in the development of civil construction industry guidance documents supporting the introduction of the Environment Protection Amendment Act 2017.
